How Do You Build A Successful Prayer Ministry?

Well, I would say with Patience, Perseverance and a whole lot of Prayer!

This ebook was inspired through my own journey of being called to the Ministry of Prayer.  Prayer is communication with God.  Being called to be a  communicator and to teach others how to communicate with Him is quite fun!  God is awesome and He waits for us everyday to enter into His presence to give Him praise and to bring Him our cares and burdens.  If only we would take Him up on the offer, life would be so much better for us.

I understand the calling of an intercessor.  There are not many resources out there that truly disciple others on how to set up a prayer ministry or how to start a prayer line.  What do you do when God calls you to do this?  Trying to find the ”How To” resource on this type of endeavor is like looking for a needle in a haystack. It takes a lot of time to do the research and to figure out how to start, who to work with, what methods to use and, more importantly, how to be successful at it.  After my own journey of figuring out how to make a prayer ministry work, I decided to write this ebook.

There is so much to learn when prayer is your ministry. First on the list is how to prepare your team and yourself spiritually for such a task. Second, you need people with the right spiritual gifts set in your ministry setup. Next, your ministry has to be registered as a corporation or properly established under your church. The succeeding steps involve getting the word out about your ministry and raising financial support for it to operate. When you have done this, what is left is actually the most challenging – getting people to pray.  Imagine doing this with very little money, time, resources and volunteers.  Does that sound familiar?  If it does, then I’m happy to present to you this guide to get you started.

In this environment where we find ourselves today, God is calling more and more of His saints to the ministry of Prayer.  I believe there will be a greater need for prayer ministries to be equipped to handle what will be happening around the world.  People are hurting and looking for answers. Christians need to be ready to heed this call as a soldier of God. In our ministry alone, we’ve noticed an increase in prayer request by 400%.  Based on this, I know that this ebook is timely and there will be many looking to set up prayer ministries and Christian prayer lines.  The other exciting thing is that there are so many new technologies that we can maximize to reach the next generation so they, too, can be a part of this important work.

I pray that God will use this ebook to enlighten you to far exceed what I have been able to accomplish.  I also pray that through this you will be able to reach more souls for the Kingdom and grow to be a vigilant intercessor for Christ.  May the Lord bless you and keep you and make His face shine upon you and give you His peace.
